Licence terms
The terms that come with StreetLap. Plain language first; the binding text is the same.
The licence
When you buy StreetLap you get a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on up to two computers that you own or control. The licence does not expire.
What you may do
- Build as many tracks as you like and drive them.
- Share the tracks you build with other players for free, keeping the credits file that comes with each one.
What you may not do
- Share, resell or publish the app or your licence key.
- Take the app apart to remove the licence check, or run it as a service that builds tracks for other people.
- Use the tracks in a way that breaks the terms of the data they were built from, listed on the data credits page.
The game and the data
StreetLap makes tracks for Assetto Corsa, which you buy separately and use under its own licence. StreetLap is not made or endorsed by the makers of Assetto Corsa. The map, elevation and photo data is downloaded from third-party sources at build time and stays under their terms.
Updates
Your purchase includes every 1.x update. A later major version may be sold separately; the version you have keeps working.
No warranty
Tracks are generated automatically from public data and may contain errors. StreetLap is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Tracks are for entertainment in a simulator; never use them to plan real driving.
Ending the licence
If you break these terms the licence ends and you must uninstall the app. Tracks you already shared stay shared.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
