Short version: the app runs on your PC, your routes stay there, and we collect only what a sale needs.
When you buy
Our reseller handles payment and tax and shares your name, email, country and order number with us so we can send your key and help you. We never see your card details.
When you use the app
- Licence check: when you activate, the app sends your key and a random ID for that PC. It does not send your name, files or routes.
- Data downloads: to build a track, the app asks public data services (USGS, USDA, OpenStreetMap servers) for the area around your route. Those requests come from your PC and carry its internet address, as any web request does.
- No tracking: the app has no analytics and no ads. Crash or support files are sent only when you choose to send one.
